Owner-led plumbing team
Servicing Our Community
Mamp Plumbing Works is led by David Mamp, a licensed and insured plumber serving homeowners throughout Washtenaw County, Michigan. When you call, you reach a member of our team who will be working in your home.

A small business, on purpose
Mamp Plumbing Works is deliberately small. There is no call center, no rotating crew, and no handoff between the person who quotes the job and the people who perform it. David leads the team, meets with you, evaluates the system, explains the options, and stands behind the work.
That structure keeps schedules honest and communication simple. It also means every job carries his name, which is the strongest quality-control system a plumbing business can have.
Our team
David is supported by a small team of experienced plumbers and technicians who handle the day-to-day work across Washtenaw County. Everyone on the team is trained to the same standards: clear explanations, right-sized recommendations, careful workmanship, and direct communication with homeowners.
Focused on residential systems
The work centers on the systems homeowners rely on daily: water heaters, water softening and filtration, and plumbing for renovations and additions. Staying focused on residential work means deeper familiarity with the equipment, water conditions, and housing stock common across Washtenaw County.
Licensed and insured
Mamp Plumbing Works is licensed and insured. Work is performed to current code, and we are happy to walk you through permitting or inspection requirements when a project calls for them.
How the process usually goes
- You call, email, or send the estimate form with a description of the situation.
- We ask a few questions and, where helpful, request photos.
- We evaluate the system and explain what we find.
- You get a free estimate with practical options and honest trade-offs.
- The work is scheduled, completed, and cleaned up.
How we work
Clear explanations
You will hear what was found, what it means, and what your options are, without jargon or pressure.
Right-sized recommendations
Equipment and repairs are matched to your home and how you actually use it, not to the largest possible invoice.
Careful, tidy work
Your home is treated with respect, from drop cloths to cleanup, and the work is left serviceable for the future.
Direct communication
You talk with the team doing the work. Questions before, during, and after the job go straight to the people on site or to David.
